Register for White Light Night Today!
By making the commitment to be a participating business, you will benefit from our advertisements on the I Heart Radio stations, Country Roads, the Advocate and social media, the community police, event permits and insurance, public transportation and event organizing by the Mid City Merchants Board of Directors.
In order to open your doors during this community event, you must be a member of Mid City Merchants and pay the participation fee below. Not a member yet? Sign up here!
If you would like to receive all of the benefits of participation plus some additional event promotion, you can select a sponsorship level:
1. Community Partners receive all of the benefits of participation, and your business' logo on the back of the map brochure, name in bold on the list under the map, logo on the website under sponsors, and a social media post featuring your business.
2. Bright Light Businesses receive all of the benefits of the Community Partners, and your logo featured prominently on the map brochure, the website and the bus magnets. Only Bright Light Businesses will have their logo placed on the map. We will also feature your business in several social media posts.
3. The Presenting Sponsor receives all of the benefits of Bright Light Businesses, and your logo or business name featured prominently in all digital marketing, print advertisements, radio ads, printed materials, and social media posts. We will also highlight your business in several, dedicated social media posts. There can only be ONE Presenting Sponsor each year. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Event permitting can be tricky. But if you’re new to events, planning to sell alcohol, or just want to make sure you’re covered, we’ve provided the attached cheat sheet to help you navigate the permitting process in Baton Rouge.
Mid City Merchants is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works to bolster local business and stimulate growth in Mid City, while raising funds for public art. Your participation not only helps to cover the costs of the event, you're helping to fund creative placemaking and cultural art in Mid City.
